A Happy Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a very happy Thanksgiving! This was the 1st Thanksgiving that AJ actually chowed down and made his likes perfectly clear. As for dislikes, well with AJ there really aren't many things he doesn't like. He LOVED the turkey, sweet potatoes and meat stuffing. He also devoured some pumpkin pie then somehow knocked mommy's piece out of her hand and finished hers too THEN asked for more. So yeah, he really likes pumpkin pie. Here's our little man chowing down on some turkey.

It's Potty Time!

The highlight of the day…AJ used the potty!  Well, sorta.  Let’s just say his aim was roughly 50%.  When you have a toddler, you get excited about the simple things.  We’re still working on the training, but we’ll get there soon.  Sorry no pictures this time :o)

Halloween Party - Revisited

Near the end of October, Lisa had a Halloween party. Unfortunately Millie was away working, but Brian and AJ went for some food and fun. AJ spent most of the night eating carrots, crackers and cheese and pushing a black plastic caludron (which was intended for punch - sorry Lisa!) around the apartment. Finally around 11pm, he started to fade and eventually fell asleep on Daddy. While he was out cold, we took this opportunity to take a couple of pictures. Here's one of those pictures he's going to hate when he's older! (thanks to Kristen for the picture)...

Rainy days and sundaes...

It's November in New England, today was unseasonably mild and rainy. We were out shopping and went to Friendly's for some ice cream. It's a good thing Brian had his cellphone to document this "mess"-terpiece! Do you think AJ enjoyed his ice cream sundae?

Juan Valdez has a new fan...

Apparently Millie isn't the only one who likes coffee. At least it's Dunkin' Donuts and not Starbucks! She shot these pictures on her cellphone while shopping at the grocery store.

AJ's Halloween Parade

Yesterday was Halloween. AJ had a parade at daycare. It was cute to see all the little kids all dressed up and parading around the parking lot. Most kids were fine until they saw their mommies and daddies and once that happened, the tears and crying started. AJ was Winnie the Pooh this year. Mom is sticking to the Disney themes as long as she possibly can before AJ starts protesting or wanting to be a superhero LOL.

Even with all the crying most of the kids cooperated and posed for the school picture. I'm glad I was able to see early on one of many "school" activities that AJ will participate in.

Ayer fue el Dia de las Brujas. La escuelita de AJ tuvo una parada de disfraces. Fue tan lindo ver a todos los ninos disfrazados y andando por el estacionamiento de la escuela. La mayoria de los ninos estaban bien comportados hasta que vieron a "mami" o "papi" y tan pronto sucedio eso, comenzaron las lagrimas y llantos. Este ano, AJ fue disfrazado de Winnie the Pooh. Mami sigue con el tema de disfrazes de Disney hasta que AJ empieze a protestar o hasta cuando el este mas grande y quiera ser un superheroe.

Aun con todos los llantos de los ninos, La mayoria de ellos se portaron bien y posaron para el retrato de la escuela. Me alegre mucho de haber podido ver una de muchas actividades escolares en las cual AJ participara de aqui en adelante.

Apple Picking/Pumpkin patch on October 21st

The ESPN "gang" went apple and pumpkin picking on October 21st. AJ had fun and was trying to go for the bigger pumpkins.
AJ and Mike Gallo were the 1st ones out of the corn maze. El 21 de octubre las amistades nuestras de ESPN y nosotros salimos de paseo a la finca de manzanas y calabazas. AJ disfruto much y queria las calabazas mas grandes. AJ y Mike fueron los primeros en salir del laberinto de maiz.

Tina, being almost nine months pregnant, got a little tired and had to pushed around in a shopping cart by her hubby Ian. We saw some animals but were not allowed to pet them so that was kind of dissapointing. Tina, con casi 9 meses de embarazo estaba un poco cansada y la tuvo que empujar su esposo Ian en un carrito de compras. Vimos algunos animales en la finca pero lamentosamente, no nos permitieron tocar los animales.

Cruisin' with Mickey Mouse

At the end of September we went on our wonderful Disney cruise vacation (2nd for mom and dad, 1st for AJ) We also spent a day before the cruise and a day after the cruise visiting the Disney parks. AJ had a lot of fun on the cruise and he enjoyed all the food and fun. The pool was a lot of fun and he loved playing on the beach in the Bahamas.
We got to visit Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Disney's Castaway Kay (Bahamian Island). We can't wait to go on another cruise soon!!

A finales de septiembre fuimos de vacaciones en el crucero de Disney (el 2do. para mami y papi, y el 1ro. para AJ) Pasamos el dia antes del crucero y el dia despues del crucero visitando los parques de Disney. AJ disfruto much en el crucero y disfruto de toda la comida y diversion. La picina fue muy divertida para el y le encanto jugar en la playa en las Bahamas. Visitamos a Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman y Castaway Kay (la isla Bahama de Disney).
